TextaDNA at the DigNA portfolio annual meeting + SCDNA26 conference in Rome!

On 26 May, the TextaDNA team participated in the DigNA portfolio annual meeting, which brings together the nine EIC‑funded projects developing DNA data storage technologies in Europe. TextaDNA actively contributed to portfolio‑level exchanges on technical progress, shared challenges and exploitation strategies, helping to align efforts and maximise the impact of DNA data storage research across the European innovation ecosystem.

Right after this event, from 27 to 29 May 2026, we also joined the second edition of the Storage and Computing with DNA (SCDNA26) conference, held at the Aula Magna of Roma Tre University in Rome, Italy. Bringing together leading researchers, industry experts and startups, the event focused on advancing DNA‑based data storage and DNA computing as key deep tech solutions for future information technologies.

By participating in SCDNA26, TextaDNA contributed to discussions on long‑term molecular data storage, novel DNA‑based computing paradigms and the pathway from fundamental research to scalable applications, in a setting co‑organized by the DNA Data Storage Alliance (SNIA) and the DigNA portfolio of the European Innovation Council. This combined participation in both the DigNA annual meeting and SCDNA26 reinforces the project’s international visibility and supports new collaborations at the interface between academic research and industrial deployment.
